It's 2:00 pm on a Friday.  You're thinking about all the nothing you're going to do this weekend when your boss calls.  They want a quick graphic to insert into a customer presentation and they want it now.

Fortunately, Excel can analyze data for you and offer helpful suggestions and you don't even need to know how to create a bar chart to do it.

In the example below, I have a small table showing some monthly revenue, cost, and profit data that I cobbled together real quick from our accounting system.

I quickly click the Analyze Data button on my Excel Home Ribbon and voila!  Excel not only offers some quick data analysis and visualizations but it also suggests to ask it questions using plain english.

Click a chart I like, throw it into a PowerPoint slide and weekend here we come!
Make sure to tune in every Tuesday for various tips on how to use the software you use everyday.  We are always here to help as well if you are looking for impactful ways to study or visualize your data to aid in making smart business decisions.  Visit our website and book a call.
